Happy hearts day, Dear!

Gone are those days when you would send me flowers in the office, or surprise me when I wake up with a breakfast in bed, whenever valentines day come.

This sounds awful, right?

Well, not really. LOVE is not celebrated on Valentines Day only. LOVE is celebrated everyday. A kiss in my forehead whenever we part from work means so much to me. It's a reminder of our love for each other. It's a reminder of the vow we made from seven years ago.

I may not tell you this everyday, but I do love you every second of everyday. I treasure every moments together. Those moments when you get to  fetch me from work and we have our alone time together. Talking just about anything -  our goals in life, plans for our family....Arguing over what's more important- financial stability or  significance in  life?

This got me thinking and I know that I'm so focused about our financial goals that sometimes I'm forgetting to live life. I easily get angry whenever you spend lavishly on food and things. That I won''t talk to you for days over it. That we were suppose to be in this together but suddenly your not telling me about your splurges. I was upset. But then I realize that you know, it's just money and we can easily get it back.

Well, I just wanna tell you that I'm sorry for these times. That I get mad at you over money. I realized that saving and aiming for financial success doesn't mean not living life. It doesn't have to hurt. It doesn't mean not sharing our blessings to others. And it doesn't mean not enjoying life while we can. Making memories together. Spending quality time together.


 Money is not the most important thing in this world. It should not dictate how we should live our lives.

That's why I'm promising you that I will not ever get mad at you over money. I want us to
 focus our energies on making a difference in our lifetime and not on getting rich. Because life is too short and we cannot bring our riches with us when we die. But the legacy we will make will stay forever. And I know that with you, we can do this together.

So, let's run more miles together. Let's paraglide together. Let's jump off a cliff together. Let's travel more together. Let's eat those exotic foods together. And let's make more kids together. Let us be the greatest parents we cud ever be to our children. And most importantly, let us not forget to share love, kindness and generousity, not only to our family, but to those random people who needs these more than we do..

I love you so dearly. You are my greatest gift. And I thank God everyday for you.  Let's start making significance together and leave a legacy worth imitating.
